Pretty much every organization you talk to these days will tell you what makes them different is their people.  While most probably say this with the utmost sincerity – as do we! – The Vested Group has given a lot of thought to our differentiator and we are able to be a little more precise. Internally, we refer to The Vested Group as TVG and we’ve discovered what makes our people different is something we refer to as TVGenius.

What is TVGenius?

TVGenius, [tee-vee-jeen-yuhs], noun:

  1.  That unique set of superpowers each one of us has that make us brilliant or amazing. Sometimes this is easy to identify like coding skills or an uncanny encyclopedic knowledge of saved search wildcards, and sometimes more elusive like being able to diffuse a tense interaction merely by your tone of voice.
  2. That spark or flash of inspiration that pops up unintentionally and inexplicably wows everyone on your project team and beyond and consistently underscores who you are and why you fit in at The Vested Group so well.
  3. The only accurate answer to: where did he learn that? …how’d she come up with that? …when did you find that? …how did he know that? …how did she do that? It’s that cool thing you do that can’t be learned or taught but just is.

  1. What is your NetSuite superpower? Fast thinking, coding, and decision-making. I’m able to implement fast solutions while making the right decision for the client.

  2. What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why?  Retail project that required functional solutions that contemplated all the resources such as inventory and data perfectly organized.

  3. What’s your favorite remote working life-hack?  Boost your Productivity Rule - when you're trying to hit your goals and be more focused, just take 5 minutes and listen that favorite song.

  4. Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? All in: No matter what the challenges are, The Vested Group always gives 110% for the client and for the team. 

  5. Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group?  Our team not only provides great solutions for the client, they also care about them and go the extra mile no matter the obstacles.

  1. What is your NetSuite superpower?  To come up with creative solutions when solving complex business requirements leveraging NetSuite standard functionality whenever possible.

  2. What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why?  All projects have a point of interest, the one that challenged me the most was a project related to retail and subscription models.

  3. What’s your favorite remote working life-hack? I stand up and walk for a couple of minutes when I need it to solve a problem. Usually, my best ideas come from these short breaks.

  4. Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why? Own It: I am fond of solving complex business requirements that challenge my knowledge regularly. 

  5. Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group? Each of us brings a unique creativity, expertise, and motivation and we all work together towards our clients' needs.

Solution Architect

  1. What is your NetSuite superpower?  My NetSuite superpower is SuiteCommerce and SuiteCommerce Advanced implementation.

  2. What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why?  A project that consisted of implementing ERP, SCA, and SCIS. Our team was able to successfully implement a true omnichannel platform.

  3. What’s your favorite remote working life-hack?  My favorite remote working life-hack is to give yourself a “virtual commute” before and/or after work. For me, this is now a walk or run.

  4. Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why?Always Do the Right Thing: My mom always told me a quote by Henry David Thoreau growing up, “Goodness is the only investment that never fails.” 

  5. Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group?  Potential clients should work with The Vested Group because of the people. The people are intelligent, genuine, driven and invested in you.

  1. What is your NetSuite superpower?  Direct a project using the 5C’s; Craft a solution, Clarify the design, Communicate with the client, Coordinate a team, and Control the scope/schedule.

  2. What’s the most interesting project you’ve worked on and why?  ERP for Real Estate Investment.  Integrated with a front-end client system & managed contracts, rentals, services, and POS functionality.

  3. What’s your favorite remote working life-hack?  Staying within my normal routine.  Just no commute or lunch at restaurants.  Filling in extra time with learning resources like webinars.

  4. Which one of The Vested Group’s Core Values speaks to you the most and why?  Always Do The Right Thing: All other Core Values would just be empty words/actions without this one.

  5. Why should a potential client work with The Vested Group?  Our people - who deliver quality solutions, on schedule, and at a market competitive price.  Focused on being the Role Models of Consulting.
